Dada Ek Good News Aahe: Vineet was eagerly waiting to start his new, soon-to-be-successful life when his 20 years old unmarried sister – Namita, came knocking on his door with a news of her own. Namita was pregnant!
That was the moment that changed both their lives.
This news made both of them look at life in new light, made them look within and redefine their beliefs and most importantly, it made them accept each other unconditionally. Vineet finally could see that his little sister had grown into a fine young woman with opinions of her own that she had the strength to stand by. Namita could finally see and embrace the vulnerable Vinit who was hiding behind the mask of maturity and practicality.
This is a play that explores the deep bond that only an elder brother can have with his little sister. This is a play that tells us that responsibility is all about standing by your loved one whether or not you agree with them, especially when you do not.
This play brings together the ever charming and popular actor Umesh Kamat, the television sensation Aashutosh Gokhale, the young and talented Mruga Bodas, the versatile Arti More and one of the best directors of his time – Adwait Dadarkar. All in all, ‘Dada Ek Good News Ahe’ promises to be an emotional joy ride that will leave you with a smile.
